The following paintings feature birds that I have seen and interacted with in some way here where I live in North West Türkiye on the Black Sea Coast in the Şile bioregion and watershed.
Through these paintings I wish to conjure up the relationship and the mingling of the creatures, people and place, and I wish to tell the story of migration, habitat and interbeing.
Let's see the world through the eyes of the birds and with their sensitivities and wisdom.
